Nectari Announces Leadership Transition as Co-Founder Greg Brown Retires Reading Highlights of Nectari/SEI's Releases in 2025 (Thus Far) 5 minutes

We’re only three-quarters of the way through the year, and there’s already a lot to celebrate. From powerful new data connections to faster performance, smarter workbooks, and expanded templates, the entire Nectari team has been busy. The recent August release is the final significant update before something big lands this Winter: Nectari’s brand-new UI and AI capabilities.

Before we leap into that next chapter, here’s your 2025 recap of the monthly releases to improve your business data analytics. While there were a lot of updates across the board, these are the ones we feel are the most impactful. The ones that will make a real difference in how you work every day so we want to make sure they weren’t missed. You’ll also find links to our Delta eLearning content, which includes videos and GIFs so you can see the updates in action.

Let’s get into it.

Introducing Our First Big Data Connection: Snowflake (July 2025 release)

This is a big one. Like, “you’re going to want to send this around your team,” big. Just released in July, Nectari customers can now:

  • Push data from any source into Snowflake using DataSync, and
  • Connect Nectari directly to Snowflake as a source for lightning-fast analysis and reporting.

Why does this matter? Snowflake is designed to manage massive volumes of data with high performance and scalability. In our own testing, we loaded anywhere from 1 million to 100 million rows into Nectari in under 2 seconds. When slicing and dicing data? That was still fast.

Whether you're consolidating complex systems, analyzing historical trends, or scaling up your reporting, this Snowflake integration gives you speed, flexibility, and enterprise-grade muscle, without slowing down your team. We continuously strive to make your business data analytics as easy as possible and now this will help many of our users.

Workbook Just Keeps Getting Better

This year, we continued our investment in the Workbook because we know how central it is to your day-to-day operations. Here are the key updates you should know:

  • Expanded data source support: You can now use OLE DB, ODBC, and DB2 data sources directly in the Workbook.
  • Performance improvements to Pivot Tables: Faster load times and smoother experience, even with large data sets.
  • Change your data source: You can now switch out data sources in your Workbook without starting over.
  • Smarter formula loading: We optimized the Smart Cache to make NECFormulas load faster.
  • Duplicator tool: Without sounding too cliché, it’s a real time-saver. You can now duplicate folders and reports across workbooks and users.

These changes were all made with your workflow in mind, faster, more flexible, and easier to manage.

Distribution: Export Where You Need To

Got a report that needs to go to a partner outside your organization? Or a visualization that needs to be automatically sent to a secure destination?

You can now export jobs via SFTP/FTP(s), even jobs with multiple visualizations. This gives you more options for automating secure distribution and collaboration.

Choose between SFTP or FTP(s), configure the properties, and each recipient will receive the distribution file in a user-named folder, automatically created within a specified base directory.

New DataSync Connectors: Meet Shopify

As of July 2025, there are about 5.6 million online stores using Shopify globally. So, it only made sense to support it. Nectari now connects to Shopify via DataSync as a source. You can now easily pull in ecommerce data and blend it with your financials or inventory for more comprehensive reporting.

This joins our growing library of connectors designed to help you bring in data from wherever it lives and continuously improve your business data analytics.

New Templates & Dashboards

Given that 38% of users are frustrated by dashboards they can’t adjust, we’ve expanded our out-of-the-box options with new dashboards and workbooks tailored for regional and industry-specific needs:

  • Sage X3 Financial Workbooks are now available in the French format
  • Sage 100:
    • Sales Analysis Dashboard
    • AR/AP Dashboard
  • Sage 200 Evolution: Financial Workbooks now available
  • Sage 300: Now includes multi-currency functionality
  • Sage 300 People
  • Acumatica Template available in French

These updates save you time, provide a jump-start for your teams, and offer best-practice layouts. This is especially useful if you're onboarding new staff or expanding your reporting footprint.

Don’t Miss Delta Training

The Road Ahead

Everything above sets the stage for what’s coming next: Our biggest launch yet, with an all-new user interface and AI-powered enhancements coming this Winter. We can’t say too much just yet, but trust us, it’s worth getting excited about.

Until then, keep exploring, testing, and reaching out with feedback. Many of our best ideas come directly from you, and we’re building this together.

See something you're eager to try? Let us know. Want help implementing a feature? We’ve got you. See you in the Fall.
